The Cody Archery Club- Founded in 1997 and operating out of Cody, Wyoming, the Cody Archery Club is for everyone who loves archery. Archers of all styles, ages and abilities are welcome, and we encourage anyone considering taking up the sport to contact us, to make new friends, and find out how much fun you can have learning new skills. We sponsor local 3D shoots and are always looking for new folks to join in and help promote the exciting sport of archery. Please see our calendar for the club meeting time and place, everyone is welcome.
The Club invites all archers to participate in the main shoot we host annually, the K-Z 3D Archery Shoot, which is held at the K-Z Guest Ranch in the scenic Sunlight/Crandall area (just outside the northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park.) This is an exciting weekend of archery, camping, and camaraderie held the second weekend in June each year. The club puts on many other shoots throughout the year all of which are open to the public and we encourage anyone interesting in learning more to contact us or check out our Facebook page or club calendar to the right for event info.
About 6 miles east of Cody, (Highway 14, 16, 20) the club maintains a 93 acre archery range. This range was developed by The Cody Archery Club with the support and help of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, Bureau of Land Management, City of Cody, Park County Recreation Board, and many other Cody Businesses.
We have two approved fourteen target National Field Archery Association Field Courses, a year round five to seventy yard sight-in range which is open to public, and a 3D course set up in the summer months available for our current CAC members to use. Although broadheads are not permitted on the courses, we do have a designated broadhead area for archers who bring their own broadhead targets. The range also boasts a restroom and picnic area. No electricity and camping is not permitted at the range.
